Pretzel & Everything Bagel Deviled Eggs

1.6K

As soon as we finished eating these, George asked me if we could make them again the next day. I happily obliged. These are EXTREMELY addictive. The crunchy pretzel bits add a texture to the deviled eggs that I didn’t know I’d been missing all my life, but now I can’t live without. I know I’m a broken record talking about how much I love EBTB seasoning, but it adds SO much flavor, crunch, and PERFECTION to everything it touches.

Pretzel & Everything Bagel Deviled Eggs

Servings 12 deviled eggs

Ingredients

  • 6 hard-boiled eggs
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp sweet pickle juice
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/8 tsp smoked paprika
  • Pinch of freshly cracked black pepper
  • 2 tbsp finely crushed pretzels
  • 1 tbsp everything bagel seasoning

Substitutions:

  • Mayonnaise —> yogurt or sour cream! Make your own if you’re out!
  • Sweet Pickle Juice —> apple cider vinegar, champagne vinegar, lemon juice
  • Dijon Mustard —> yellow mustard is great! A couple dashes of worcestershire would be good in a pinch.
  • Paprika —> a TINY bit of cayenne
  • Pretzels —> panko or Italian breadcrumbs
  • EBTB Seasoning —> sesame seeds and a pinch of garlic powder

Instructions

  • Cut eggs in half, scoop the yolks into a bowl and place the egg white halves onto a serving platter.
  • Mash the yolks finely, then add the mayonnaise, pickle juice, mustard, salt, paprika, and pepper. Mash and mix together until as smooth as possible.
  • Transfer the mixture to a ziploc, getting it as far down into a bottom corner as possible. Use scissors to snip the corner off.
  • Squeeze the yolk mixture into the egg white halves. Top with crushed pretzels and everything bagel seasoning.
