Apple Pie Smoothie

It’s apple pie! In smoothie form! Soaked walnuts make this smoothie so fabulously creamy, and pack it with a natural source of protein versus a fake-sugar-packed protein powder.

Apple Pie Smoothie

Servings 2 smoothies


  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2  cup  Greek yogurt
  • 2 small red apples, cored and roughly chopped (about 3 cups chopped apple)
  • 2 tbsp raw walnuts, soaked
  • 1 large banana, chopped and frozen
  • 2 mejdool dates, pitted
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/2  tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2  tsp apple pie spice (or ground cinnamon)
  • 1 cup ice
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon each flax seeds and chia seeds


  • Blend all ingredients until smooth, 30 to 45 seconds in a high-powered blender.
